1- Except for their own wishes and defects, those who have been dismissed by their employer can benefit from unemployment benefits. Those who leave work voluntarily cannot receive unemployment benefits.

2- The employee must have paid an unemployment insurance premium for at least 600 days in the last 3 years before dismissal and worked as an insured for the last 120 days before dismissal.

3- Unemployment benefits are paid by IŞKUR. In order to be injured by unemployment benefits, the employee must apply to IŞKUR within 30 days after the cancellation of the employment contract. With his application, jobseeker registration is made, so that he benefits from the unemployment insurance fund.

4- Employees are paid unemployment benefits for a period of 6 months to dec0, depending on the number of bonus days they have paid during their working time. 5- The unemployment benefit is calculated as 40 percent of the average daily gross earnings of the insured person, taking into account the main earnings of the premium for the last 4 months, and cannot exceed 80 percent of the gross amount of the monthly minimum wage. 0.759 percent stamp duty is deducted from unemployment benefits.

6- The general health insurance premiums of those receiving unemployment benefits are paid from the unemployment insurance fund. Those who receive a salary and their dependents can benefit from the health care provided by the state.

7- People receiving unemployment benefits are given the opportunity to find a new job by IŞKUR.

8- Unemployment benefits in Turkey are cut when a new job is entered or a pension is linked.

9- If person is re-employed before the expiration of the period while receiving unemployment benefits and becomes unemployed again before meeting the conditions necessary to benefit from unemployment benefits, the benefit can continue to be used until the previously deserved unemployment benefit is expired.
